Marketing Manager

Job Summary:

The Marketing Manager will report into the VP of Operations and oversee all aspects of the marketing plan for the Hatch brand over 2 locations, including, but not limited to, pricing and promotional strategies, digital marketing, social media, in-store merchandising and messaging, and in-store and online events.  Hatch is an independently owned medical and adult use cannabis dispensary company.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute all aspects of the marketing plan for the Hatch brand over 2 locations
  • Creation of all marketing related content (Social / Email / Text / Web / Traditional)
  • Curate and maintain all social media platforms for the Hatch Brand
  • Manage Hatch website, blog, and video, including ongoing development of fresh digital content
  • Manage Hatch loyalty program
  • Conduct ongoing pricing / promotion research and analysis to ensure competitive pricing and promotional strategies
  • Develop, evaluate, and manage marketing, pricing, and promotional activities, strategies, and policies across 2 stores, including weekly promotional calendar
  • Develop manage and coordinate all in-store collateral and digital content
  • Lead / coordinate weekly in-store and online consumer education events to promote the Hatch brand (e.g. Facebook live)
  • Negotiate alongside leadership on contracts for services needed to execute a marketing strategy
  • Provide input / collaborate on purchasing and merchandising decisions
  • Assist in leading and implementing the retail merchandise program (branded merchandise and cannabis accessories)
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge/passion for cannabis industry
  • Strong knowledge of cannabis paraphernalia and accessories a plus
  • Rockstar level social media marketing experience
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools
  • Solid analytical and tactical problem-solving skills
  • Thorough understanding of principles and methods used to promote, display, and sell products and services
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Understanding of cannabis regulations and compliance, or willingness to learn

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or relative equivalent experience required
  • At least 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Cannabis industry experience preferred but not required
  • Retail / merchandising experience a plus
  • Must be over the age of 21
