Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Advanced experience in scope review, budget analysis, information gathering, basic & advanced programming
- Advanced knowledge in site surveys, state and local code requirements/research methods, ADA requirements, occupancy types, occupant load calculations, egress planning, plumbing fixture counts/code review
- Advanced experience in visioning, concept development and space planning
- Advanced understanding and knowledge of elements and principles of design, color and materials
- Advanced experience with construction materials and sourcing FF&E specifications/providers
- Advanced understanding of proper acoustic and lighting planning and specifications
- Advanced experience in project design specifications, construction documentation production and construction administration
Experience & Education:
- Licensed or registered Interior Designer preferred
- Bachelor/Master Degree in Interior Design or Architecture from a CIDA-accredited or NAAB-accredited program
- Remain educated through relevant continuing education-type opportunities
- Minimum 5+ years of post-graduate professional Design experience, preferably within commercial design
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrates collaborative and professional demeaner with clients and other team members
- Self-directed and motivated
- Proficient in AutoCAD (current office release preferred)
- Proficient in Photoshop and SketchUp
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, One Note)
